These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StoryCast website, mobile apps, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit. However, by submitting content, you grant StoryCast a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You represent that you have the rights to the content and that it does not infringe upon the rights of others.
4. Permitted Use
You may not:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or infringing activities
- Harass, spread hate, or engage in malicious conduct
- Attempt to bypass security or misuse the platform
- Use automated scraping or data collection without authorization
5. Intellectual Property
All design, functionality, and branding of the Service are owned by StoryCast or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service.
6. Termination
StoryCast may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, legal requirements, or to protect the platform and its users.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. StoryCast does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor that content will always be secure or preserved.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryCast is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. StoryCast’s total liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you via the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
